Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd, one of the leading manufacturers of helmets in Asia, has just announced the launch of its new series of helmets which are called as ‘SB-39 ROX’.
The Rox series of helmets come with built-in sun shield, which is a goggle that can help the rider avoid glares from the sun. The shield can be operated with a push-button slider mechanism, which is ergonomically placed.
Steelbird claims that the new Rox helmet is the most economical helmet to come with the sun-visor feature. The helmet has been designed in Italy by XTECH DESIGN, and conforms to the ISI standards in India, and will meet the European standards.
Talking on the occasion, Mr. Rajeev Kapur, who is the Managing Director of Steelbird, said that the main USPs of the helmet are the sun shield and light-weight that will make long rides enjoyable and comfortable. He adds that the ROX has a premium look and feel, and comes with replaceable interiors.
The helmet is available in a range of glossy/matte color options, including black, Desert Storm, Battle Green, and Cherry Red in vibrant decals. The company is making it available in two sizes – 600mm (Large) and 580 mm (Medium). The Steelbird ROX helmet is priced at ₹1199 and will be available at all Steelbird outlets and online at Steelbird’s official website.
