Steelbird has unveiled a new range of half face helmets which claim to have the longest visor covering the entire face along with the chin. The Yo Yo helmet, as this new range has been named, has been made for both men and women and protects the rider from dust. It also claims to have an Italian design with an attractive and light weight body aimed to please all, particularly those of the young generation.
These ISI marked helmets coated with imported iridium have an unbreakable polycarbonate scratch resistant visor. It uses 3G-13-RT / 3G-14-RT micro-metric buckles for meeting European standards, the polyester webbing used in the chin strap also add to its attractions. It also gets a special anti-theft ring, ratchet locking system, Shell material hi-impact ABS and designer interiors. Apart from providing great protection, it is also convenient to carry as it can fit in most scooter underseat storages.
The helmet comes with mechanical gear system in the visor cum ratche. It comes in three pre-existing sizes of 560 mm, 580 mm and 600 mm with a designer chin trap with metal passante for size adjustment. It comes in Dashing, Glossy and Matte finish to make it even more attractive. These high density EPS helmets are priced at Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,249.
