The OneS will replace the Dot One in the Indian market while claimed to be the longest-range electric scooter in its price segment.
Simple Energy has launched the OneS electric scooter at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Replacing the Dot One e-scooter, it is claimed to be the quickest and longest-range electric scooter in its price segment. Simple OneS will be sold initially in 15 cities including Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore. However, the delivery timeline of the OneS has not been revealed yet. The Hosur-based EV startup now has two e-scooters in its portfolio in the form of Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS.
The OneS carries the same styling as the Dot One and is offered with four colour options namely Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue and Namma Red. It has an underseat storage area of 35 litres while the saddle height stands at 770 mm.

Simple OneS is powered by a fixed battery pack of 3.7 kWh which is connected to an electric motor developing top power of 11.4 bhp. The e-scooter has an IDC range of 181 km on a single charge while clocking a top speed of 105 kmph. There are four ride modes available in the form of Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. It does a 0-40 kmph sprint in merely 2.55 seconds in the Sonic mode.

The OneS is packed with a 7-inch coloured TFT touchscreen console which boasts of 5G e-SIM and Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth connectivity. It allows the riders to manage phone calls, customize themes, turn-by-turn navigation, and over-the-air updates. In addition, a few extra features like Park Assist, Find My Vehicle, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and regenerative & rapid braking systems are also present in the electric scooter as standard.
The company had also introduced the Simple One Gen 1.5 last month in our country with a range of 248 km on a full charge. The Gen 1 used to come with 212 km range while the Gen 1.5 with 248 km became India’s longest-range electric two-wheeler. Simple Energy intends to expand its retail operations with 150 new stores and 200 service centers across India by FY’ 2026.
