Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd is gearing up for the upcoming festive season rush and has started attractive offers on their best-selling motorcycle, the Shine.
The Honda Shine, powered by their tried and tested 124.7 cc air cooled mill, produces 10.57 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm, has been the country’s largest selling 125 cc motorcycle. While the company brought a small cosmetic update to the Shine earlier this year, their overall sales in the 110 cc to 125 cc segment have dropped slightly.
To catapult sales, Shine is now available with additional savings of Rs 7,300. This festive special CB Shine scheme will allow customers to avail the bike with a down payment of Rs 5,999. Easy monthly instalments can also be brought down to as low as Rs 999.
The company has also recorded a great sales performance on the opening day of Ganesh Chaturthi, an auspicious Hindu festival. The single day retail sales crossed the 56,000 units mark. Compared to last year, Honda informs, this is a 40 per cent increase marking the initiation of the festive season.
