Both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X will be launched here on the 5th of July which is when we will also get to know their prices as well. Media rides are planned thereafter and we get to ride both of them around 10th July and reviews should be up by mid of next month, which is when all of us should get a good idea of how good has the Bajaj-Triumph’s first project come up. So all of you tempted to buy one of these mid of next month is till when you should wait.
Talking about buying, pre-bookings of both the models are now open in India. You can visit Triumph’s Indian website and secure your motorcycle by paying just Rs 2000. And in case, the eventual reviews do not turn up to your liking or the prices do not match your expectations, you have the option of cancelling your booking which is full refundable.

Just a quick refresher – the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are the first models emanating out of the Bajaj-Triumph partnership and in the first impression they appear terrific. The Speed 400 is the roadster model out of the two whereas the Scrambler 400X, as its name suggests, has some off-road potential.
They are powered by a newly developed 398cc, single cylinder engine that churns 40 PS of peak power and 37.5 Nm of max torque. You can check out more details and features of the motorcycles in our unveil article…
