Royal Enfield is stepping up the game to fully dominate the motorcycle industry with several new models waiting to be unleashed in coming months
Royal Enfield is all set to expand its motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of several new models across various segments in the Indian market. The upcoming Royal Enfield bikes include Scram 450, Himalayan 440, Bullet 650, Himalayan 750 and much more. The Flying Flea S6 will also go on sale by the end of this year. Reportedly, RE is also in talks with the China-based CFMoto to develop a smaller capacity (250cc) hybrid motorcycle, which is going to be its most affordable model till date in India.
As for the upcoming Royal Enfield bikes in India, we are likely to see the Bullet 650 first as it has already been more than 6 months since the motorcycle was showcased to auto enthusiasts in India at the Motoverse 2025. We have also learnt that the Himalayan 440 will also debut in the Q3 FY27 in the Indian market while the Flying Flea S6 and Scram 450 are scheduled for Q4 of this financial year.
Royal Enfield will also unveil the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 at the EICMA 2026 in November. Both these models were showcased at the previous edition of Milan Motor Show as concept models and B Govindarajan – CEO & MD of Royal Enfield, himself confirmed earlier this year that production-ready prototypes of the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 will have their global premieres at the EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy.

Lastly, it was speculated last year that Royal Enfield will launch an entry-level 250cc hybrid motorcycle in India. The company will source the 250cc engine from CFMoto while positioning the hybrid motorcycle below the Hunter 350 with a price around Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield 250cc hybrid motorcycle is expected to have a mileage of 50+ kmpl while the engine will be meeting even the upcoming BS7 (CAFE) emission norms. However, nothing concrete has come to our knowledge since then regarding this hybrid bike.
Presently, Royal Enfield’s production unit in Chennai is capable of wheeling out 1.5 million motorcycles on an annual basis. The company is investing Rs 958 crore in this facility to increase the production volumes from 1.5 million to 2 million. Several popular models like the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Himalayan 450, Hunter 350, Flying Flea C6, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Guerrilla 450 are locally built here.

In order to accommodate the smooth roll out of these new motorcycles, Royal Enfield is also opening a new production facility in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of $230 million. Once fully operational around 2032, this factory will have an annual manufacturing capacity of 9 lakh units. This will ensure an overall production of 2.4 million motorcycles each year for Royal Enfield.
