Royal Enfield September 2026 Sales: 8% YoY Growth, 1.33 Lakh Units

Royal Enfield emerged as the fifth biggest two-wheeler brand in the Indian market by racing past Suzuki in September 2026

Royal Enfield has registered sales of over 1.33 lakh units in September 2026, which is its highest-ever monthly sales in the Indian market. The YoY growth was recorded at 8 percent as the brand sold more than 1.24 lakh units during the same month last year. The domestic volumes grew by 7 percent from 1,13,573 units in Sep 2025 to 1,21,326 units in Sep 2026. As for the export business, it posted a double-digit YoY growth of 17 percent as 12,632 made-in-India motorcycles were shipped last month as compared to 10,755 units in Sep 2025.

Speaking about the performance for September 2026, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “Building on our momentum this year, we achieved our highest-ever monthly dispatches in September 2026. As we enter the festive period, we are continuing solid business performance supported by key product interventions. Celebrating a decade of the Himalayan brand, we launched the Himalayan 440 earlier this month and witnessed overwhelming response from the community far exceeding our expectations. Our electric journey also saw a major milestone as the Flying Flea C6 entered Europe and the UK, starting with five major cities.”

The YTD (year-to-date) sales in FY27 (April-September 2026) reached 7.09 lakh units with 20 percent YoY growth as 5.92 lakh units were sold during April-September 2025. During these six months, RE sold 6.42 lakh units in the domestic market while recording 23 percent growth as compared to 5.21 lakh units sold during April-September 2025. The exports declined by 5 percent on a YoY basis from 70,421 units during April-September 2025 to 67,075 units during April-September 2026.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 (6)

Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan 440 last month at a sticker price of Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The company added a 10-year anniversary badge on the fuel tank of the initial units to commemorate the 10th anniversary of ‘Himalayan’ nameplate. The entry-level ADV bike in the RE portfolio is offered in Sela Black, Mustang Brown and Nelong White colour schemes.

The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand also launched the Flying Flea C6 in Europe and the UK. It will be available at the Flying Flea stores in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London with deliveries set to begin by October 2026. Apart from the existing two paint shades namely Flea Green and Storm Black, a new third colour options was introduced in the form of Parachute White.

Last but not the least, the 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signature White went on sale last week at a price point of Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) in the Indian market. Being one of the range-topping variants in the Classic 350 line-up alongside the Emerald Green Edition, it comes loaded with premium bells and whistles such as Assist and Slipper Clutch, adjustable clutch and brake levers, Tripper Pod with turn-by-turn navigation and a USB Type-C fast charging port.
