Royal Enfield achieved the sales milestone of 1 million (10 lakh) units in CY 2025 in the Indian market. Registering its highest-ever yearly sales in the domestic market, the brand sold a total of 10,71,809 bikes with a YoY growth of 25 percent. It had retailed 8,57,378 units in CY 2024. In addition, Royal Enfield’s export business also grew by 36 percent as it shipped 1,32,132 motorcycles in 2025 as compared to the 97,371 units in 2024. Needless to mention, the Classic 350 was the top-selling model for the company.
The annual sales data of Royal Enfield for the last 13 years reveal that 2025 was the third year on the trot when the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand sold more than 8 lakh units. It had retailed over 8 lakh bikes for the first time in 2018. However, the sales plummeted in the subsequent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it recorded the lowest-ever yearly sales in 2020 with 5,38,889 units.

The company has made swift recovery in the last few years post the pandemic by introducing multiple new models in the 350cc as well as 650cc segment. The domestic sales in 2022, 2023 and 2024 stood at 7,03,156 units, 8,22,295 units and 8,57,378 units, respectively. Finally, it was last year when it surpassed the 10 lakh units mark for the first time.

Royal Enfield sold more than 1 lakh units in the domestic market for three consecutive months between August and October. It posted the highest-ever monthly sales of 1,16,844 units in October 2025. Royal Enfield was the first one among the other notable two-wheeler brands to pass on the full benefits of GST 2.0 to the buyers by slashing the price of its 350cc model line-up by up to Rs 22,000/
The SIAM data states that the Classic 350 was the highest-selling motorcycle for Royal Enfield as it accounted for 37 percent of the total bikes sold in its segment between April and December 2025. The Bullet 350 was the second best-selling model for the company, followed by the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. It dominated the 350cc segment with absolute authority in 2025.

As far as the 450cc bikes are concerned, the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450 clocked a combined sales of 27,517 units during April-December 2025. This segment was owned by Bajaj Auto with market share of around 60 percent due to multiple KTM and Triumph models. The third position was occupied by Harley-Davidson X440 in this segment. Last but not the least, in the 650cc segment, Royal Enfield held a market share of 97 percent.
