Royal Enfield Records Impressive Growth in July 2025 Sales

The export volumes saw an incredible surge of 95 percent with 11,791 made-in-India motorcycles shipped to various global markets in July 2025.

Royal Enfield, the home-grown motorcycle company, retailed a total of 88,045 motorcycles in July 2025, including domestic sales and exports. It registered an impressive YoY growth of 31 percent as it had sold 67,265 units during the same month last year. The biggest contribution in this sales success was of export volumes which grew by a massive 95 percent in July 2025. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand exported 11,791 units last month as compared to 6,057 units exported during the same period last year.

Speaking about the performance for July 2025, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd., and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “We are extremely pleased with the sustained demand momentum across our product portfolio. Our new range of motorcycles on the Sherpa 450 platform, and the new refreshed Hunter 350 are seeing excellent reception both in India and global markets.”

As far as domestic sales volumes are concerned, Royal Enfield witnessed growth of 25 percent with 76,254 units sold in July 2025 against the 61,208 units during July last year. The company retails multiple motorcycle models in the 350-650cc segment in the form of Bear 650, Classic 650, Guerrilla 450, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Himalayan 450, Scram 440, Bullet 350, Classic 350 and Goan Classic 350.

Royal Enfield launched the 2025 Hunter 350 earlier this year in April at a starting price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It became the first 350cc RE bike in India to come with a slip and assist clutch. The brand carried out several updates in the new model of the Hunter 350 in the form of LED headlamp, new rear suspension, tripper pod, increased ground clearance and type-C USB fast charging.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 also went on sale in March 2025 in the Indian market. Introduced in three trims namely Hotrod, Classic and Chrome, it was priced between Rs 3.37-3.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The elder sibling of the brand’s best-seller Classic 350 was presented in four colourways in the form of Vallam Red, Teal, Black Chrome and Bruntingthorpe Blue.

The next few months are going to be pretty exciting for all the Royal Enfield aficionados across the globe as the brand launches its first-ever all-electric motorcycle under the Flying Flea brand. The company is all set to roll out the production-ready Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle at the EICMA 2025 in November. It is also expected to unveil the first motorcycle from the 750cc portfolio, which could be either the Continental GT-R 750 or the Himalayan 750.
