Royal Enfield Model-Wise Sales FY26 – Classic, Bullet, Himalayan, Hunter

While the entire 350cc motorcycle portfolio of Royal Enfield posted YoY growth, the sales of certain 450cc and 650cc bikes declined on a YoY basis

Royal Enfield clocked sales of around 1.1 million units in FY26 with a YoY growth of 23 percent in the domestic market in India. The brand had retailed over 9 lakh units in FY25. The Chennai-based two-wheeler company has a comprehensive portfolio of 350cc, 450cc and 650cc motorcycles, which will further expand in the coming months. The Classic 350 was the highest-selling model in FY26 with overall sales of more than 4.10 lakh units as compared to approx. 3.50 lakh units in FY25 with a YoY growth of 17 percent.

The second best performer for Royal Enfield was the Bullet 350. The old-school charm of the 350cc bike doesn’t seem to be fading anytime soon as it posted sales of over 2.55 lakh units in FY26 with a healthy YoY growth of 45 percent against 1.77 lakh units in FY25. The new-gen model of the bike went on sale from Sep 1, 2023 in the Indian market.

The Hunter 350 was the third top-seller for Royal Enfield with sales of over 2.38 lakh units in FY26 as compared to 1.92 lakh units in FY25 with a YoY growth of 24 percent. It is the brand’s entry-level model in the Indian market with the lowest starting price of Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The sales of the bike were boosted by the GST 2.0 in Sep 2025 which reduced the pricing by around Rs 12k-14k.

The Meteor 350, RE’s most expensive bike in the 350cc segment after the Goan Classic 350, recorded sales of 1.19 lakh units in FY26. It registered a decent YoY growth of 21 percent as 99k units were sold in FY25. In the 450cc segment, the combined sales of the Himalayan 450 (24,373 units) and Guerrilla 450 (12,811 units) stood at approx 37,000 units. Surprisingly, the Himalayan 450 posted YoY de-growth of 11 percent in FY26.

While the GST 2.0 helped RE’s 350cc portfolio immensely as the pricing of every motorcycle came down, the 450cc and 650cc models were on the receiving end as they became more expensive than before. Just so you know, under GST 2.0, the tax on two-wheelers with engine capacity below 350cc was slashed from 28 percent to 18 percent while on the models with engine bigger than 350cc, it was raised from 28 percent to 40 percent.
