Royal Enfield India Sales Surpass 10 Lakh Units in FY26

Royal Enfield registered its highest-ever monthly sales of 1.17 lakh units in Oct 2025 in the domestic market in India

Royal Enfield has sold more than 1 million motorcycles in the Indian market between April 2025 and February 2026 in FY26. It is for the first time that the brand has retailed more than 10 lakh (10,06,937 units) motorcycles in a fiscal year in India. RE’s sales volumes in the first 11 months of FY26 stood at 10.07 lakh with a YoY growth of 24 percent. It has completely dominated the 350cc motorcycle segment with a market share of 94 percent. Though it also has a wide portfolio of 450cc and 650cc motorcycles, the 350cc range accounts for 92 percent of overall sales.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 remains to be the company’s best-selling motorcycle as it accounts for nearly 40 percent of the total sales. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand retailed around 10.10 lakh units in FY25 but these were combined volumes of domestic market and exports at 9.03 lakh and 1.07 lakh units, respectively. Hence, Royal Enfield missed out last year, but in FY26 it has finally achieved this feat.

With the sales data of March 2026 yet to be released, Royal Enfield is well on its way to finish FY26 with domestic sales of around 11 lakh units while exports could be approx 1.25 lakh units. The brand’s core strength lies in its 350cc line-up, which is evident from the fact that out of the total 10,06,937 units sold in FY26 so far, 9.31 lakh units with a 92 percent share belonged to four 350cc bikes namely Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350.
