The adventure bike was on display at the 2026 Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh ahead of its highly-anticipated global debut in November in Italy
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been showcased in India for the very first time at the Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh. The brand’s biggest-ever motorcycle in terms of engine displacement is likely to have its world premiere at the EICMA 2026 a couple of months later in Italy. It could be officially launched in the Indian market at the Motoverse 2026 which will be held between Nov 27-29 in Goa. The ADV tourer has been spotted testing multiple times in the past without any camouflage and even a pre-production prototype was on display at the previous edition of EICMA.
First things first, the Himalayan 750 is visibly bigger than the other RE bikes while it flaunts a rugged styling which appears to be inspired by the recently launched Himalayan 440. Some of the notable design elements include a round LED headlamp, tall windscreen, massive fuel tank (could store around 20L fuel), upswept exhaust pipe, spoke/alloy wheels and muscular side fairing.
The suspension duties will be carried out by USD forks with preload and rebound adjustability at the front while the rear unit will be a monoshock with adjustable preload. It gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup. The prototype showcased at the Himalayan Base Camp 2026 in Ladakh was fitted with Vredestein Centauro tubeless dual-purpose tyres.
The Himalayan 750 will come equipped with a round TFT instrument cluster which is a direct lift off from the Himalayan 450. It comes with Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity for navigation through Google Maps and call/SMS alerts. A few other prominent features onboard the adventure motorcycle are ride modes, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control system and ride-by-wire throttle.
The Himalayan 750 boasts of a split-seat setup for easy installation of panniers and a top box. The company has equipped it with a dual-disc brake setup at front while there is a single disc unit at the rear. The riders also have access to a USB Type-C charging port for charging the Smartphone and other compatible devices on the move.
At the heart, Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has the newly-developed 750cc parallel-twin petrol engine which is likely to generates top power of at least 55 bhp and highest torque of 60 Nm. This will be a major upgrade from the existing 650cc engine which pumps out max power of 47 bhp and peak torque of 52 Nm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
