The S6 electric scrambler motorcycle has been spotted testing once again in Ladakh and the spy-images reveal interesting details about the bike.
Royal Enfield is working on multiple all-electric motorcycles for the Indian market under the Flying Flea branding. The first two models under this new sub-brand are going to be the C6 and S6, both of which debuted in concept form at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. Though the C6 was later showcased in multiple cities in India at media events, the S6 has been kept under wraps. Both the Royal Enfield electric bikes are confirmed to break cover in production-ready guise at the EICMA 2025 in November before going on sale in Q1 2026 in the Indian market. Recently, a test mule of the Flying Flea S6 Scrambler was sighted in Ladakh with heavy camouflage, indicating that high altitude cold weather testing of the bike is in final stages ahead of the official launch.
The Flying Flea S6 happens to be the Scrambler version of the C6 which is presented in a neo-retro look. The spy images from Ladakh revealed some really interesting details about the all-electric Scrambler model. It was captured on camera with spoke rims and AT (All-Terrain) tyres, hinting that it will have off-roading capabilities. We can also see the 3.5-inch round touch-enabled TFT instrument console which is likely to offer turn-by-turn navigation.

It was further learnt that the Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 is underpinned by a forged aluminium frame which tips the weighing scale at approx. 110 kg. It is quite visible in the spy shots that the electric motorcycle will boast of mid-mounted battery pack with finned Magnesium casings to enable passive cooling. The S6 will share the fixed LFP battery packs with the C6, which are expected to be in the range of 3-4 kWh.
The S6 is expected to get a range of 100-120 km on a single charge while the performance is said to be equivalent to a 125-150cc ICE-powered motorcycle. It will also be compatible with fast charging The all-electric Scrambler motorcycle will come with five ride modes in the form of Eco, Rain, Tour, Performance and Custom. Some of the notable Scrambler elements in the e-motorcycle will include handlebar, front fender and split-seat setup.

Royal Enfield claims that it has used aluminium extensively in both the C6 and S6 to make them lightweight. Both the electric models are based on a common platform which has been internally codenamed as L platform. There is no word on the pricing yet and we expect more details regarding the same in the coming couple of months.
Royal Enfield, besides the all-electric C6 and S6 motorcycles, is also expected to unveil the first two 750cc bikes at the EICMA 2025 in November. These could be the Continental GT-R 750 and Himalayan 750, which will go on sale in 2026 in the Indian market. The Flying Flea S6 could make its first public appearance in India at the brand’s annual Motoverse event which begins on Nov 21 in Goa. It could go on sale in the first quarter of 2026 in India alongside the C6.
