Royal Enfield’s all-electric twins, the C6 and S6, will be launched later this year under the ‘Flying Flea’ branding in the Indian market
Royal Enfield recently announced the financial results for the Q3 (October-December) FY 2025-26. During the conference call, B. Govindarajan, Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield revealed the launch timeline of the brand’s upcoming electric motorcycles namely Flying Flea C6 and Flying Flea S6. Both these all-electric bikes have been showcased to the general public in India at the Motoverse 2025. Royal Enfield will be the first mainstream legacy brand to foray into the electric motorcycle segment in the Indian market.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Launch Date
B. Govindarajan, speaking about the C6, said that it ‘is almost ready for production’, which suggests that it could finally go on sale in the first quarter (Apr-Jun) of the FY 2026-27 in India. He further added that Royal Enfield is not looking at it from the point of view of a just another launch but it is planning to build an entire category around it, as Flying Flea is responsible for all things electric in Royal Enfield’s scheme of things.
Royal Enfield recently stated that it will increase the annual production at its Chennai facility to 20 lakh units from the existing 14.6 lakh units. This expansion in capacity is carried out to ensure smooth production of the Flying Flea C6 and S6. Without divulging the exact launch date of the C6, Govindarajan stated, “You will see in the next quarter time window.”
BGR made it clear that the company is not in a rush hour mode and instead taking its own sweet time before it finally launches the Flying Flea C6. “We will build it slowly and steadily,” concluded Govindarajan. Royal Enfield could introduce its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, in a phase-wise manner, starting with big metro cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Launch Date
The Flying Flea S6 is the brand’s second all-electric motorcycle. However, unlike the C6 which is a neo-retro urban commuter, it is a scrambler model which has been developed for all-terrain riding. The S6 was showcased at the EICMA 2025 and Motoverse 2025 with a tentative launch timeline of 2026 end. Recently, Govindarajan confirmed the same by stating, “S6 will come at during the course of the year, around the time of EICMA”.
We can expect the Flying Flea S6 going on sale by early 2027 in the Indian market at a price point of around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Though technical specs are not in public domain yet, we can expect a range of close to 200 km on a single charge. Apart from the standard home charging, it will also support fast-charging for intercity travels.
