The spy images show the upcoming Continental GT 750 in a near production guise and it is likely to be unveiled at the EICMA 2026 in Italy
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 was recently showcased in a pre-production form at the 2026 Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh. It is speculated to have a grand global debut at the EICMA 2026 later this year in Italy. However, as we speak, Royal Enfield’s yet another 750cc motorcycle, tentatively titled as the GTR 750, has been spotted testing in Chennai. The spy images show the upcoming Continental GT 750 in a near production guise and it is likely to be unveiled alongside the Himalayan 750 at the EICMA 2026 in Italy.
Royal Enfield Continental GTR 750 will be a fully-faired cafe-racer model based on the newly developed 750cc engine plaform. Previously, test units with essentially no fairing were captured on camera as well, and the brand could be introducing two different versions of the bike and the one sans fairing could simply be christened as the Continental GT 750.
Some of the notable styling elements seen in the spy pics are a circular LED headlamp, tall windscreen, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, and alloy wheels. We can also notice twin exhaust pipes in matte black finish. The engine also flaunts the same black theme. The Continental GTR 750 will be offered with a dual disc brake setup at the front.
The suspenion duties could be handled by telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear absorbers as standard. A few prominent features onboard the Continental GTR 750 could be slipper clutch, all-LED lighting, tubeless tyres, dual-channel ABS, and twin-pod instrument cluster. However, it misses out on the Tripper screen with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
In comparison, the Himalayan 750 comes loaded with the latest round TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity, Google Maps navigation and call/SMS alerts. A few other prominent features onboard the adventure motorcycle are ride modes, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control system and ride-by-wire throttle.
However, mechanically, both the Continental GTR 750 and Himalayan 750 will share the same 750cc parallel-twin petrol engine which is likely to generates top power of at least 55 bhp and highest torque of 60 Nm. This will be a major upgrade from the existing 650cc engine which pumps out max power of 47 bhp and peak torque of 52 Nm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
