Royal Enfield Classic 650 Launch Price Rs 3.37 Lakh

The Classic 650 is the sixth 650cc Royal Enfield motorcycle after the Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, Shotgun and Bear.

Royal Enfield has finally launched the all-new Classic 650 in the Indian market. Priced between Rs 3.37-3.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), it will be available in three variants namely Hotrod, Classic and Chrome. The company has announced that bookings, test rides and sale of the Classic 650 begins from today across the country. It has also rolled out exciting upgrade/exchange options for the existing Classic 350 customers which can be checked out at REOWN. Royal Enfield Classic 650 had its world premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. Later on, it was also showcased at the Motoverse 2024 in Goa. However, it took the company almost five months to finally reveal the pricing of the bike. The motorcycle will be available in Vallam Red and Bruntingthorpe Blue colourways with the entry-level Hotrod trim, while the mid-level Classic grade and top-end Chrome derivative can be availed in Teal and Black Chrome colour schemes, respectively.

Based on Royal Enfield’s 650 twin motor platform, it gets shorter and sporty fenders as it rides on wider tyres. The Classic 650 will come with dual seats with an option of pillion seat and rack removal, using a single bolt on mechanism. The round LED headlamp as well as the turn indicators boast of polished aluminium and chrome finish. Some of the other striking styling features on-board are teardrop fuel tank, signature ‘tiger lamps’ and plush wide seat.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 carries premium Showa-sourced telescopic suspension at front and twin-shock absorbers at rear. It is packed with several advanced features in the form of USB Type-C charging slot, digital LCD screen with an odometer, gear position indicator, trip metre, clock, fuel level indicator and service reminder. The dual-channel ABS also comes as standard.

Tipping the scale at 243 kg, the Classic 650 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. It is equipped with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine which dishes out 46.4 bhp at 7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox with wet multi plate clutch. The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer is also offering Genuine Motorcycle Accessories in the Classic and Classic Tourer inspired themes.
