Royal Enfield witnessed an all-time high sales of 1,24,328 motorcycles in Sep 2025, thereby shattering every previous monthly sales record
Royal Enfield registered its highest-ever monthly sales by retailing a total of 1,24,328 motorcycles in Sep 2025. These are the highest monthly sales figures in the history of the brand. The company recorded 43 percent YoY growth as it had managed to sell 86,978 motorcycles during the same month last year. Royal Enfield sold 1,13,573 units in the domestic market last month as compared to 79,325 motorcycles in Sep 2024 with a YoY growth of 43 percent. The export volumes also surged from 7,653 units in Sep 2024 to 10,755 units in Sep 2025 with a growth of 41 percent.
Speaking about the performance for September 2025, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd., and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “It has been an incredible start to the festive season for us at Royal Enfield, we have registered our best ever monthly sales volume and have crossed 1,00,000+ retail volumes for the month. To make sure that our customers take home their favourite Royal Enfield motorcycle this festive season, we have put in considerable effort. In the month of September, we announced the upgraded Meteor 350 which has received a promising response from our community. All our new and existing motorcycles continue to perform well, we are confident of the growth momentum and are looking forward to a great year ahead.”
The recent GST overhaul, dubbed as GST 2.0, came as a mixed package for Royal Enfield. While the entire 350cc model line-up became more economical and accessible to the buyers due to 18 percent GST from the existing 28 percent, the 450cc and 650cc models, including the Himalayan 450, Continental GT 650 and Bear 650, became more expensive for the public as the GST was increased from existing 28 percent to 40 percent.

Recently, Royal Enfield launched the 2025 Meteor 350 at a starting price of Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) in the Indian market. Presented across four variants namely Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova, it comes with several premium features in the form of LED headlamps, Tripper navigation pod, LED turn indicators, USB Type-C fast-charging port, Assist-and-slip clutch, and adjustable levers.
Furthermore, Royal Enfield announced its partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart for online purchase of its 350cc motorcycles. For the first time, the customers in five Indian cities namely Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai will be able to buy their favourite RE bike through payment options on Flipkart. The entire 350cc portfolio comprising of Bullet 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350, Goan Classic 350, and Meteor 350 will be up for sale on Flipkart.

Royal Enfield fans are going to have a really exciting time in the coming months as the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand is all set to roll out its first electric motorcycle in the form of the Flying Flea. It is likely to break cover in production-ready form at EICMA 2025 on Nov 4 while a public premiere in India could take place at the Motoverse 2025, which will be held between Nov 21-24.
