Royal Enfield has increased the prices of its entire 650cc model line-up by Rs 3300-4300 due to rise in production costs
Royal Enfield has silently increased the price of its 650cc motorcycles in the Indian market. Though the price hike is not substantial as it falls in the range of merely Rs 3k-4k for most of the models. The company has not clarified the reason behind this rise in price but we believe that it is due to increase in production costs. Royal Enfield presently has six motorcycles in the 650cc portfolio namely Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, Shotgun, Classic and Bear. Below are the Royal Enfield 650cc model-wise prices:
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650
The Interceptor 650 is the entry-level model in Royal Enfield’s 650cc portfolio. Priced between Rs 3.32-3.63 lakh (ex-showroom), it is available in a total of six colour options namely Canyon Red, Cali Green, Sunset Strip, Barcelona Blue, Black Ray, and Mark 2. Due to the price hike of approx Rs 3.3k-3.6k, it gets revised pricing in the range of Rs 3.35-3.63 lakh (ex-showroom).

As for the Continental GT 650, it comes in five paint shades namely British Racing Green, Rocket Red, Apex Grey, Slipstream Blue and Mr Clean. The company has increased the prices by around Rs 3.5k-3.8k and hence the existing pricing of Rs 3.50-3.78 lakh has increased to Rs 3.53-3.82 lakh. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom.

Royal Enfield Classic 650
The Classic 650 is the latest addition to the brand’s 650cc portfolio as it was launched last year only. Priced in a bracket of Rs 3.61-3.75 lakh (ex-showroom), it has received a hike in price by Rs 3.6k-3.8k. Now, post the upward revision in price, it will now be available at a retail price between Rs 3.65-3.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The Classic 650 is offered in four colourways namely Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal, and Black Chrome.

Royal Enfield Bear 650
The Bear 650 is retailed in a total of five colour schemes namely Boardwalk White, Petrol Green, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow and Two Four Nine. The earlier pricing of Rs 3.72-3.94 lakh (ex-showroom) has been revised to Rs 3.75-3.98 lakh (ex-showroom) due to an increase in range of approx. 3.7k-3.9k, depending on the colour and variant of the bike.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
The single-seater Shotgun 650 was launched at the Motoverse 2023 in India. It has also witnessed an upward revision in price by around Rs 3.9k-4.1k. The new pricing falls in the range of Rs 3.98-4.13 lakh (ex-showroom) against the older pricing of Rs 3.94-4.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It can be availed by the buyers in four colour choices namely Sheet Metal Grey, Plasma Blue, Drill Green and Stencil White.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
The brand’s flagship 650cc motorcycle, the Super Meteor 650, debuted in Jan 2023 in the Indian market. It is the most expensive RE model in India and hence gets the highest price hike. The new pricing lies between Rs 4.03-4.37 lakh (ex-showroom) with an increase of Rs 4.0k-4.3k against the older price range of Rs 3.99-4.32 lakh (ex-showroom). It is sold in three colours namely Astral, Interstellar and Celestial.
