DSK Hyosung started their innings with the bigger ST7 and the GT650R which were followed by stylish Aquila Pro & GT250R which looked exactly like the bigger brethren 650R. Meanwhile, in January 2013, Hyosung refreshed the GT650R to make it a lot younger and fresher retaining the same engine and characteristics.
Ever since then, it was expected that the company would lend a similar refresh to the GT250R and after a wait of more than a year, we actually get to see the new 2014 refreshed GT250R in the same clothes of the 650 courtesy this leaked spyshot by Topgear.com.
Upon the very first glance you may get confused and can mistake it to be the GT650R. However, as was the case earlier, the exhaust can spoils the party and tells the truth. The 250 gets an all-aluminium silencer whereas the GT650R comes in matte finish.
Further, Top Gear says that the launch will take place in a few days from now and the new GT250R will continue with the same 249cc 28PS V-Twin motor that powers the current bike. When we took the GT250R for a test ride back in 2012, we were impressed by the bike save for a few cons, most prominent of them being the vibrations. You can read our comprehensive review of GT250R here.

We hope DSK Hyosung must have worked on the bike to reduce the vibrations. But what is great to note is that the new 2014 GT250R looks fabulous, yet again!
