Pulsar 135 LS Drives Bajaj Auto Indonesia Sales

Good news for Pulsar 135LS fans. Pulsar 135LS became the top selling model for Bajaj Auto in Indonesia. Bajaj Auto Indonesia sold around 9,253 units of Pulsar 135 LS out of total sales of 18,500 units during the period of January to September 2011, which represents around 50% of total sales of Bajaj Auto Indonesia.

Bajaj Auto Indonesia sales Pulsar 135 LS at Rp (Indonesia Rupiah) 14.7 million (approximately Rs. 81,000) on the road in Indonesia. According to Rizal Motor sports, the major reason of success of Pulsar 135LS is performance at unmatchable price.  The bike is selling well in areas like Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. Other areas that also witnessed good growth are Java, Sumatra, Bali and Sulawesi.

Pulsar 135 LS was launched in Indonesia in the last year April 2010 as a part of increasing Bajaj Auto’s presence in Indonesia. Currently, it competes with product like Honda MegaPro (Unicorn Dazzler in India) and Yamah Bayson (FZ in India). Pulsar 135 LS is seeing good sales growth in export market, however in India it has seen decline in sales compare to previous year.  With the bike completing two years, we may see an upgraded version of Pulsar 135LS in a near future.
