Polaris to Participate in Srinagar Mughal Rally for the First Time With RZR S800

Off-Road vehicle maker, Polaris India is gradually venturing into adventure sports, something which reflects the kind of vehicles they sell in India. And now, for the first time the company will participate in Mughal Rally in Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir.

Mughal Rally is an annual event which passes through the Mughal Road in Srinagar and covers a distance of 600kms. The Mughal Rally is scheduled from 28th June to 30th June and will include a ride of 64kms of Mughal Road. It will comprise of two versions – Xtreme and Enduro. The difference between these two will be the fact that Xtreme will be a stage rally whereas the Enduro is a Regularity test.

And what better vehicle to lend the duties to than the RZR S 800! Yes, Polaris’ ace rider Raj Singh Rathore will ride the sharper RZR across the treacherous terrains to give the best shot at the rally. RZR S 800 is powered by a 760cc 2-cylinder motor that pumps out 52 horses and is specifically designed to take on off-roading conditions with its engine placement behind the passenger seat for lower center of gravity.

Winners of both the Xtreme & Enduro will win Rs 2 Lakh each and Polaris MD, Mr Pankaj Dubey is looking forward to the challenge and expects a podium finish for themselves. Polaris has already participated in similar events like Raid de Himalayas, Dakshin Dare, Desert Storm and has a very good record so far.
