OFFICIAL: KTM Duke 390 Launch on Tuesday 25th June

So, it goes official! An official invite mailer has stuck our inbox and it clears the clouds surrounding over the launch date of one the most awaited rage in the motorcycling history – KTM Duke 390!

KTM-Duke-390-1

Bajaj & KTM will launch the Duke 390 on Tuesday, 25th of June at a glittering function in Pune. The launch will take place from 11:45am. The invite has been sent on behalf of Mr. Amit Nandi, Vice President of Probiking, Bajaj and the gathering will be addressed by none other than Mr Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto.

The launch of Duke 390 will add the second offering from KTM in India apart from the Duke 200 they already sell in India. This is a very important launch for the company as it will provide a platform for young bikers to own a powerful motorcycle at (expected) affordable price tags.

Duke 390 is powered by a 373.2cc water cooled single cylinder engine which is capable of producing 44hp of insane power and a thunderous torque of 35Nm. All this at a kerb weight of only 139 kgs! Yes, a power to weight ratio of 316.5PS/Tonne makes it a brutal killer. We just wish Bajaj adds to the spice by offering it at mouth watering prices!

Team BikeAdvice will be present at the venue and in case you have any questions/queries which you want us to ask Bajaj officials, do mention them in the comments section below.

Our guess is a Rs 2.4 Lakh Ex-Showroom price; What about you?
