Offer Extended; Speed 400 Available at Rs 10,000 Discount Still

Special offer on Speed 400 has been extended till 31st December and the roadster will then be available at its original price tag of 2.33 Lac..

So, quite possibly the biggest launch of the year was the Triumph Speed 400. The roadster was literally one of the most complete new motorcycles we have ridden in the last few years. And Bajaj, which is manufacturing the smaller Brits here, put an icing on the cake by announcing a shattering price tag of Rs 2.33 Lakh ex-showroom – that left almost everybody surprised – except us!

If that was not enough Triumph also promised a Rs 10,000 discount for the first 10,000 customers. This number, I believe, would definitely be over but in a surprise press note, Triumph has extended the offer further till 31st December 2023. This means the ex-showroom price for buyers who get the Speed 400 till 31st December will be 2.23 Lac. But from 1st January 2024, the motorcycle will move to its original tag of Rs 2.33 Lac.

The press note also informs that from 10-15 dealers initially that Bajaj inherited, the number of Triumph World showrooms have increased to 50 in 40 odd cities of India. The target is to take this reach to 80 cities by April 2024. The idea is to take the motorcycle closer to as many potential customers as possible.

SPIED: New Triumph Thruxton 400 Spotted Testing

The Speed 400 is powered by a new near 400cc single cylinder engine that has a lot of tractability. It churns 40 PS of peak power and 37.5 Nm of max torque. Based on a similar platform is the newly launched Scrambler 400X that does not get any specific discounts and comes at 2.63 Lac ex-showroom.

Both the bikes can be booked at the official website by paying an amount of Rs 10,000 which is fully refundable in case you, for some reason, opt out of buying the motorcycle.
