Oben Electric has commenced the first deliveries of the recently launched Rorr Evo in the Indian market. The first batch of Rorr Evo customers in Bengaluru received their electric motorcycles through Oben Electric’s signature First to Rorr delivery event. The company will start delivering the Rorr Evo in other parts of the country over the coming weeks in a phased manner through its 150 showrooms across the nation. Priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), Oben Rorr Evo has crossed 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of its launch in May 2026.

Oben Electric’s production facility is capable of wheeling out over 1 lakh electric motorcycles on an annual basis. The company has a nationwide retail and service network comprising 150+ showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across 90+ cities in 18 states. Motorcycles account for nearly 65 percent of the country’s annual two-wheeler sales.
Oben Rorr Evo features industry first SmartIQ, the brand’s AI-powered ride optimization technology that enhances range by up to 15 percent, and segment first projector headlamp setup. Powered by Oben Electric’s proprietary 9 kW motor and 3.4 kWh LFP battery, the motorcycle offers a top speed of 110 kmph, a claimed range of 180 km and acceleration from 0–40 kmph in just 3 seconds.
With fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes and an industry-leading 8-year battery warranty, the Rorr Evo features 5-inch colour TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilization and fall detection with emergency SOS through Oben’s proprietary ARGUS connected technology platform. All the critical EV components, including LFP batteries, motors, VCUs, chargers and proprietary software, designed, developed and manufactured in-house.
The all-new Rorr Evo was launched at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. However, the aforementioned price was only valid for the first 10,000 customers. Oben Rorr Evo bookings commenced at merely Rs 777/- on May 1 at the official company website. The electric motorcycle is offered in four colour options namely Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.
