Oben Electric has wheeled out the 10,000th unit of the Rorr motorcycle from its Bengaluru manufacturing facility in the country. The pure electric two-wheeler brand has 150+ showrooms across 90+ cities in 18 states in India. In addition, the manufacturing facility in Bengaluru has annual production capacity of 1 lakh units. The latest model in the Rorr series was the Evo electric motorcycle which was launched in May 2026 at a starting price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the initial 10,000 customers in the Indian market.
Oben Rorr Evo has already crossed 25,000 bookings as production and deliveries are underway pan India. The company is accelerating production to meet strong customer demand. The production scale-up is backed by Oben Electric’s 3.5-acre vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. Oben Electric has set a target of adding 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27 in India.
The brand designs, develops and manufactures critical EV components including LFP batteries, motors, VCUs, chargers and proprietary software in-house. Motorcycles account for nearly 65 percent of the country’s annual two-wheeler sales, making the segment one of the largest opportunities for accelerating EV adoption. However, in the e2w segment, the sales of motorcycles is way too less as compared to the scooters.

As for Oben Rorr Evo, it is available in four colour options namely Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White. The pure EV brand claims that the electric motorcycle comes with the longest seat of 680mm in its segment while also being the first and only model in its class to come with 10 litres of storage capacity. The single-piece seat has a height of 780mm.
Oben Rorr Evo is powered by a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack which is believed to offer 50 percent higher heat resistance and 2 times lifecycle compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. The power is supplied by a IP68-rated 9 kW electric motor which has been designed, developed, and manufactured in-house by Oben Electric. It does a 0-40 kmph sprint in only 3 seconds. The Rorr Evo comes with an IDC range of 180 km on a full charge while clocking a top speed of 110 kmph.
