Norton Atlas Adventure Bike India Launch by April 2026

Norton Atlas will be presented with a twin-cylinder engine in the middleweight adventure segment to rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in India

Norton Motorcycles will present four new models at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. The brand has now officially revealed that it will showcase the new V4 superbike in two versions namely Manx and ManxR, while an all-new adventure motorcycle, christened as Atlas, with twin-cylinder engine will also break cover at the event in Milan, Italy. All these Norton bikes will also be sold in the Indian market and a specific launch timeline is not released yet, but we expect Norton Atlas to hit the Indian roads by April 2026.

Sudarshan Venu, Chairman & Managing Director, TVS Motor Company said that the new range of Norton Motorcycles will be retailed across the globe, including key markets like Europe, US, Asia and India. The revival story of Norton will be incomplete without India and hence, it is likely to launch the entire range of new bikes in India next year.

Norton Atlas, likely to be based on the 450cc engine platform of the BMW F 450 GS, will be manufactured at TVS factory in Hosur with higher levels of localization. While the V4 will be positioned as the brand’s flagship model in India, the Atlas will act as the volume churner for Norton. It will rival the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming TVS 450 adventure motorcycle.

The new-gen Norton V4 Manx and ManxR have already entered production at the company’s facility in Solihull, UK. However, it is learnt that India is shouldering the responsibility of supplying most of the components used in these superbikes. As the bikes will be sold as direct import in India, one can expect exorbitant pricing for both the V4 models.

Previously, Venu had stated that Norton’s resurgence will start with the introduction of six new motorcycles. Having said that, we will get to see four models at the EICMA 2025 which includes the V4 twins, Atlas ADV bike and one anonymous bike, while the remaining two motorcycles will also be unveiled in 2026 only, albeit at a later stage.

There is no word on the other two bikes as of now, but we expect them smaller than the twin-cylinder Atlas adventure bike. They could be entry-level adventure and fully-faired models, based on the recently launched Apache RTX 300. But these are merely assumptions and the real picture will come out on Nov 4 at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy.
