The first motorcycle born out of the partnership between TVS and BMW is the Apache RR 310 and it is nothing short of a revelation! BMW has branched out two motorcycles on the same platform – G310 R and G310 GS and sells them under its own moniker. This will obviously not be the end of the joint venture between the two partners and the question everybody has in mind is – when is the next product coming?

So the answer is probably out, if a report at Autocar Pro is to be believed! According to them, TVS will be launching the second product from its alliance with BMW as early as this financial year. Chances are that it will be a motorcycle and it may continue to be based on the same 310 platform and if we are correct in this analysis then it will be the fourth product overall, based on this platform, if we do not consider the full faired G310 RR which BMW showcased at the BMW Motorrad Days in Japan last year. TVS Apache RR 310 Review: ROAD TEST
Nothing is known on what genre of motorcycle are they working on since there haven’t been any spyshots yet – not in India, not anywhere else! Moreover, Apache 310 was road tested for a long time before it was eventually launched so introduction of the second motorcycle this soon would probably be a little difficult. However, we must also consider that the platform is now already comprehensively tested and if it will, indeed, be based on it, TVS will have a lot less to test.
