The next-gen Hero Glamour has been spied testing with cruise control and several other modern features while tipped to launch in early 2026 in India.

Hero MotoCorp is readying the next-gen Glamour 125 for the Indian market. The next-gen model of the brand’s commuter motorcycle has been spied testing with cruise control feature, which is something quite unusual. Even the Mavrick 440, the flagship bike in Hero portfolio, doesn’t come with cruise control and hence it is quite astounding to see a commuter motorcycle equipped with this feature. The next-gen Hero Glamour is likely to launch in early 2026 while taking on the recently launched Honda CB125 Hornet and TVS Raider 125.

The next-gen Hero Glamour was not wearing the typical camouflage cover as we see on the test units, instead it appears to be covered by brown coloured duct tapes. With the inclusion of cruise control, a modern comfort feature which would have suited the Xpulse 210, Karizma XMR and Mavrick 400, it appears that Hero is following a strategy similar to the Vida electric scooters.

The spy-shots indicate that the fuel tank lid is identical to the current-gen model of the Glamour 125. The company has also packed the new version of the bike with LED turn indicators, updated switchgear and of course cruise control. The coloured fully digital LCD instrument cluster is apparently sourced from the Xtreme 250.

Several other signature elements of the ongoing model have been retained in the new-gen Glamour. We can see the traditional RSU telescopic front forks, saree guard, single-piece long seat, triple-tree setup, ordinary foot pegs, rear grab rail and full chain cover. It seems that Hero intends to blend the modern features with conventional commuter components with the new-gen model.

The inclusion of Cruise Control feature on the new-gen Glamour 125 also suggests that it could also make its way on several other Hero models in a phase-wise manner. In fact, premium offerings such as Xoom 160, Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210 and Mavrick 440 are touted to be the first Hero products among others to get this advanced feature.

Mechanically, the new-gen Hero Glamour 125 is believed to be carrying the same engine without any sorts of updates. It will continue to be powered by the 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine which generates maximum power of 10.7 bhp and highest torque of 10.6 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed transmission.
