New Hero Vida VX2 Electric Scooter Leaked – Clear Pics Inside

Hero Vida VX2 is still more than a month away from its official launch, but almost every detail of Hero’s affordable e-scooter has been leaked online.

We told you a few days back that Hero MotoCorp is planning to introduce a highly-affordable electric scooter below V2 range in the Indian market. Even the company had officially locked July 1, 2025 for the launch of this highly-anticipated model. Now, ahead of the official debut, it has been leaked online after it was spotted undisguised at a dealership by our friends at Car&Bike. The leaked images further confirm that it is indeed the rebranded version of the Vida Z, which will be christened as Vida VX2.

Vida Z made its first public appearance at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi. Hero has introduced a rebadged version of this premium scooter with less equipment and features in the form of the VX2 for the Indian market. Needless to state, Vida VX2 will be available in three variants namely VX2 Lite, VX2 Plus and VX2 Pro as all these monikers have already been trademarked by the brand.

The spy-images show the Vida VX2 in a matte yellow paint scheme and we can clearly notice the VX2 badge on the side panels. In addition, we can also see a ‘Plus’ badge which further confirms that the electric scooter will have multiple variants. The spy pics also give a glimpse of the physical key hole in the e-scooter. For reference, Vida V2 boasts of a smart key with keyless go as a standard feature right from the base trim.

The VX2 electric scooter gets a smaller instrument cluster than the V2. Though it could be a fully coloured digital TFT display with Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity and navigation feature. Vida VX2 price could start as low as Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom), considering it misses out on multiple premium features and Hero’s smart cost cutting measures. The V2 range is priced between Rs 74,000-1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Some notable features likely to be offered in the VX2 e-scooter range could be all-LED lighting (headlamp, tail-lamp and turn indicators), 12-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and front disc brake among others. The instrument cluster will not be a touchscreen unit which we see in the Vida V2 as a standard fitment even in the entry-level Lite trim. The split seat setup of the Vida V2 has been replaced with a simple single-piece seat.

The battery and other technical details are not in public domain yet. However, reports claim that it will be equipped with the same detachable battery packs as the V2 range in a similar variant hierarchy, ranging from 2.2 kWh to 3.9 kWh. Subsequently, the range could go up to 165 km on a full charge for the top-end grade. Stay tuned for more info on the same.
