The new-gen Pulsar 150 has been clicked undisguised at a company showroom ahead of its official launch next week in the Indian market
The new-gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been leaked ahead of its official debut on Aug 12, 2026 in the Indian market. The bike has been spotted undisguised at a company dealership with several new details being out in public domain, including features and engine specs. Recently, a similar pattern was noticed when the new-gen Pulsar 125 had reached the company showrooms even before the official launch. Just so you know, Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the new-gen Pulsar Classic range next week in the domestic market in India.
Bajaj had earlier updated the Pulsar 150 in Dec 2025 with new LED headlamp and LED turn indicators. In addition, refreshed colours and updated graphics were also introduced with the bike. However, this time around, the updates are not only cosmetic in nature but they also include mechanical overhaul, as the new-gen model is said to be sitting on a new chassis.
The front fascia is tweaked with a new LED headlamp setup and LED DRLs. The most prominent update comes in the form of a new LED tail-lamp cluster, which has been modified for the first time in nearly two decades of the bike’s existence in our country. The fuel tank design is carried over from the ongoing model and it can store up to 15 litres of fuel.
The new-gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 sits on a new chassis and swingarm. The exhaust pipe has also been restyled for a sportier appearance. Bajaj Auto has carefully retained the clip-on handlebars, centre-set footpegs and upright riding posture. The fuel tank shrouds are also fresh. Overall, the new-gen Pulsar 150 looks better than before due to these visual updates.
Identical to the new-gen Pulsar 125, the Pulsar 150 also gets rid of the twin-shock rear suspension in favour of a modern and upscale mono-shock unit. It shares the new rectangular shaped coloured LCD instrument cluster with the new-gen Pulsar 125. For those asking, it will offer Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and gear position indicators as standard.
The unit of the new-gen Pulsar 150 captured on camera at Bajaj dealership appears to be the base variant as it misses out on several premium features such as dual-channel ABS, rear disc brake, split-seat setup and LED blinkers. The air-cooled engine of the outgoing model has been replaced with an oil-cooled unit, albeit with similar displacement, power output and torque delivery. A 5-speed gearbox is likely to be at the helm.
