The new EL platform along with multiple concept vehicles will break cover at the third edition of Ather annual Community Day in Bengaluru.
Ather Energy will debut the new EL electric scooter platform on August 30, 2025 in the Indian market. The company will host the third edition of its annual Community Day on August 30th at KTPO (Karnataka Trade Promotion Organisation) in Bengaluru. Apart from the EL platform, it will also unveil concept vehicles, next-gen fast charging (Ather Grid) solutions, and the upgraded Ather Stack 7.0 at the event. The theme for the third edition of the annual Community Day is ‘Technology that works like magic’.
Interestingly, the third edition of Ather annual community day will be open for non-Ather owners too. Just so you know, the first two editions were exclusive for existing Ather customers. The company, in an official communication, stated that, “Anyone interested in automotive technology, design, engineering, or hardware can attend this year’s Community Day and get a closer look at how Ather builds its products.”

It has been learnt that the new Ather EL platform is quite versatile in nature while being budget-friendly as well. It will help the brand to introduce an affordable electric scooter below the Rs 1 lakh price mark as Ather presently do not have any models in the low-cost price segment. However, all the rival brands like Bajaj, Ola, TVS, and Hero have presence in this segment.
As for the next-gen fast charging solutions, we could see an advanced and updated version of the Ather Grid. Currently, it has a charging speed of 1.5 km/min and 1.2 km/min for Ather and Vida e-scooters, respectively. The next-gen version could be even faster and convenient, as claimed by the company in the official press statement.

The latest version of Ather’s software stack, the Ather Stack 7.0, will also be launched at the annual community day. We can expect a lot more modern and upmarket features with the new version. Though the feature list is not in public domain yet, we are likely to get more details on the same in the coming weeks.
Ather Energy had launched its family-centric Rizta e-scooter at the last edition of its annual community day. It touched the sales milestone of 1 lakh units earlier this year in the domestic market. Recently, a new variant of the Rizta S with 3.7 kWh battery was introduced at a price point of Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom) with a range of 159 km.
