Second Spotting of new TVS Phoenix; Will it be Called as Victor?

TVS Motors may not have a 180cc plus motorcycle in India but they are pretty much everywhere under it. Apart from their upcoming bigger bikes with new partners BMW, they have started working hard on the lower capacity more volume churning models.

Regular BikeAdvice readers would remember that we were the first to share with you the uncamouflaged spy shots of the upcoming motorcycle last month which looked significantly different but had an uncanny similarity with their 125cc Phoenix (here).

Their upcoming motorcycle has again been spotted recently on the Vellore-Krishnagiri highway by a Team BHP forum member //M who was on his way to Bangalore.

This one though is interestingly camouflaged and is reportedly pretty quick. The spotter was doing a 100kmph while the test rider was still ahead of him, doing somewhere over it. This, along with the ‘125’ inscribed in our last spotting clearly hints at the fact that this may be a 125cc motorcycle. However, lack of disc brakes sounds scary, but as you can see (in our earlier spyshots) it will definitely come loaded with one.

Frequent reports of TVS resurrecting their Victor brand have emerged from time to time and hence there is a possibility that, instead of Pheoenix (which is not doing well), TVS may label this new bike as Victor.

This new Victor looks fairly sporty for a 125cc model with upswept tail, muscular tank and decent body proportions. Coincidentally, this seems to be the same test rider which our reader clicked in May, same helmet and protective jacket eh?

There is all the possibility that TVS may launch it up sometime this year but how would the Victor brand play its role is the question everyone is interested to know.
