Apologies for creating some confusion out there, we ourselves were not sure! Kinetic group, the official Indian distribution company of MV Agusta motorcycles has been sending press releases about their launch/bookings/deliveries since last October 2015. As we understand, this is their third or fourth intimation about kickstarting of their Indian innings.
Nonetheless, this one seems official! MV Agusta has formally announced their entry in the Indian motorcycle market. They now have a dealership as well in Pune.
The Italian manufacturer is entering India in collaboration with Kinetic Group and the company will be called as MV Agusta India Pvt Ltd and their exclusive showrooms will be branded as Motoroyale. It is a new chain of superbike showrooms, which will make some of the best bikes in the world accessible to motorcycle enthusiasts in India.
Here’s what Mr Judah Immanuel Sangaran, Far East Country Manager, MV Agusta Motor SpA, had to say:
“This is the perfect time for us to enter India, as we are witnessing a surge in demand for premium motorcycles. We offer biking aficionados best-in-class superbikes that boast exquisite designs by the renowned Massimo Tamburini as well as superior cutting-edge technology. MV Agusta motorcycles guarantee a riding experience that’s second to none.”
The Motoroyale showroom chain will now expand to cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai. They will focus on sales, service, spares and after sales support for MV Agusta customers in the country. The company, as a whole, holds exclusive distribution rights for all MV Agusta motorcycles in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
