MV Agusta, the legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer has confirmed that they will be updating the Brutale 675. This news comes after they recently introduced the new Brutale 800 at the EICMA with a Euro 4 compliant mill and improved performance (in the mid-range). And with the brand already in India now (in collaboration with Kinetic) we can keep our fingers crossed and hope the updates trickle down here soon.
Asphalt and Rubber reports that updated Brutale 675 can be expected to hit the streets in the second quarter of 2016. Just like the new Brutale 800, the 675 can also be expected to house a less polluting mill compliant with the Euro 4 norms.
The present version of the in-line three cylinder engine produces 108.5 hp of maximum power at 12,500 rpm and 65 Nm of peak torque at 12,000 rpm. While the company may drop a few pegs in terms of top end power, the engine can be expected to produce more useable power in the low and mid-range. Sweet isn’t it?
