MV Agusta has announced that they are going to launch three new motorcycles this year. While there has been rumors flying off the hook that they are working on new products, this is the first time an official confirmation has cropped up.
As per a report on an Italian website OmniMoto.it, the company declared at this year’s ‘Friends of Claudio’ event that the company will bring in three all new 1,000 cc models for 2016. While two of them are expected to be the replacements for the legendary F4 and Brutale, the third is going to be a crossover (what’s that?)! Last year at EICMA while everyone was expecting a newer F4, the company released just a more insane RC version.
‘Friends of Claudio’ is an annual event held in the memory of the great Claudio Castiglioni. The report further adds that these bikes will have a completely new engine, a new chassis and new body designs! The legendary Italian brand has just been brought under the guardianship of the Daimler’s umbrella and this would be their first litmus test to see whether they can continue spinning the magic or not!
Interestingly, parallel to this, there are sneaking bits that MV Agusta has plans to venture into India with an Indian brand. Here is what has been circulated till now…
