Today is a big day in the Indian motorcycle history. Its the launch of KTM Duke 390, one of the most important motorcycles that has the potential to rock the segment and possibly the overall biking scenario in India.
Now, in a revelation of sorts, Bike India has updated that according to some of their sources inside Bajaj Auto, Duke 390 will be priced at Rs 2.30 Lakh on road in Pune. If, by any chance, this goes true, we are all set to witness a shocker of an announcement. A 44PS monster with a power to weight ratio of 317bhp/tonne just lends the 390 hooligan characteristics! And add to that the extremely competitive speculated price tag!

Duke 390 produces 44PS of power output from its 373.2cc motor and comes coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. It comes with an 11 liters of tank capacity and shares majority of its parts with the Duke 200. Duke 390 also gets an ABS which can be turned off. We have had a very quick dash on this monster and we were blown away with the kind of a rush the bike provides.
