The ceremonies of awards and celebrations are one never ending thing in the Indian automobile industry. Recently Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the leading automobile companies, bagged the ever prestigious Dun and Bradstreet Rolta Corporate Award 2010 for outstanding contributions to the automobile sector. This award will certainly grow the reputation of the company further and helps it bag more and more markets in the near future. The D & B awards felicitated 54 of India’s leading corporate names across various sectors.
The ceremony was just not limited to giving awards but also the evening market the launch of 11th edition of the Dun & Bradstreet’s premiere publication titled ‘India’s Top 500 Companies 2010’.
The publication ranked companies from 1 to 500 in various sectors and Mahindra was placed at the No.1 spot in the Automobile sector. D&B is the world’s leading provider of business information and it is an achievement for any company to be ranked by them. The D&B Rolta Awards are closely monitored and given only based on corporate study and the performance of various nominees.
Mahindra was very happy to have received such a wonderful award and speaking on the occasion Mr. Kushal Sampath (President and CEO- India D&B) said that the growth rate of Indian corporate sector is incredible. He further said that the newest publication of D&B aptly covers all the sectors of the corporate India and highlights the best of the best out performers in each sector. The latest publication also includes 46 new corporate companies making their debut this year. Mr. Kushal lastly congratulated all the companies for their achievements.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd said that the company is pretty much delighted to have won the award and also to be ranked at the top in the Automobile sector. He added that this award showcases the company’s technological strength and customer centric approach. All in all, the awards went off nicely and M&M was proud of its achievement. We only hope that Mahindra keeps up the good work in the near future as well.
