Almost four months since its launch, Mahindra two-wheelers have added a new variant to their first indigenously developed 110 cc scooter, called as the Gusto HX. Slated between the entry level DX and top end VX, the HX variant aims to bring in the best of both worlds, more features without a high price tag.
The Gusto HX carries a price tag of Rs 46,800 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi) which is exactly between the top end Gusto VX (Rs 48,800) and the entry level DX (Rs 44,800). It gets height adjustable seat and other features present in all the variants which include tubeless tyres, telescopic suspension with air springs and LED pilot lamps.
It misses out on features such as remote flip key and find-me lamps (of Gusto VX). The segment first height adjustable seat, which was earlier present only in the top end VX variant, adds a great amount of convenience where the seat height can be reduced from 770 mm to 735 mm which you can adjust based on your height and comfort.
All the variants of Gusto are powered by a 109.6 cc air-cooled engine which produces 8 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It gets a high ground clearance of 165 mm and a 6 litre of fuel tank.
