Mahindra has launched a new special edition of their 110 cc Activa challenger, the Gusto. The automatic scooter is the country’s first product in the segment with a unique height adjustment feature. Available only in the top end VX variant, the Gusto special edition carries a sticker price of Rs 52,010 (ex-showroom, Delhi). That’s 2,000 bucks more than the standard version.
Mechanically the scooter is powered by the same 109.6 cc air cooled mill churning out 8 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The seat height is 770 mm in the higher position and can be brought down to 735 mm if the need be. The special editions get two new paint schemes:
- Pacific Matte Blue
- Crimson Matte Red
The scooter also gains beige colour panels for interiors and floor board. Other features include a remote flip key, find-me lamps, guide lamps, a bright halogen headlamp with LED pilot lamps, easy front kick and a handy quick storage compartment.
Changing with the advancements in technology, Mahindra will also be offering the scooters in the e-commerce platform, Paytm. The special editions can be booked for an amount of Rs 5,000. Paytm is aiming to become the country’s largest online destination for booking two-wheelers.
