Bajaj has been slipping in monthly sales but has some fantastic product launches lined up which are expected to bring it back to the reckoning. This includes products in the mass market segment as well as the more powerful niche segments.
The recent launch of the Discover 150F has got them the dividends and here is a list of all what is coming next from the second largest motorcycle manufacturer in India…
List of Upcoming Bajaj Motorcycles in 2015
1. Pulsar 200SS
- Launch date: Early 2015
- Expected Price: Rs 1.2-1.3 lakhs on road
The Bajaj Pulsar brand’s best ever product so far is undoubtedly the 200NS. And the company is preparing its first ever fully faired motorcycles which will take things ahead for them. To be called as Pulsar 200SS, it will be Bajaj’s most astonishing looker and has already hogged a lot of limelight!
It will come with fuel injection and the same engine of Pulsar 200NS and may get ABS as optional. There is a very minor power increment expected and will come with front projector headlamps and eyebrow like pilot lamps.

2. Pulsar 150NS
- Launch date: First half of 2015
- Expected Price: Rs 70,000-80,000
The largest selling 150cc motorcycle in the country is due for a major update. Looks are a replica of the 200NS and it will get a lot of feature add-ons from its elder sibling as well, like mono-shock absorbers, triple spark ignition and others. There are speculative bits which report about the possibility of a bigger 160cc engine but we are not sure about it at this point.
The game changer will be the power output which most probably will be class-leading and may only be lesser than the R15!

3. New Platina
- Launch date: mid 2015 (expected)
- Expected Price: Rs 40,000-45,000
A new comprehensively updated Platina will be the next thing coming from Bajaj. While the Pulsars are centred towards enthusiasts, the new Platina will get them the much needed volumes in the mass 100cc segment, where Bajaj just doesn’t have any stronghold! There may be improvements to the looks as well as the engine and rideability.

4. Discover 125:
- Launch date: unknown
- Expected Price: Rs 49,000-52,000
Wait what? Another Discover? Yes, Bajaj is reportedly working on a new Discover model which will be 125cc. So, amidst a lot of Discover Ms and Ts, there may be another alphabet joining the ring, or some of them may get axed! Not much is known about the new motorcycle at this moment and let’s see how does Bajaj manage to spice it up this time!
5. Pulsar 400SS
- Launch date: Only coded in the dark alleys of Rajiv Bajaj’s brain
- Expected Price: Rs 1.6-1.8 lakhs
This is one motorcycle that has been keeping everyone on their toes – enthusiasts as well as rivals! With an expected power output of about 40PS and a price tag of approx Rs 1.8 Lakhs, Pulsar 400SS will go on to become a sheer value for money muscle monger. Though, its expected launch month can not be predicted at this point of time, there are all the chances and hints that the motorcycle should launch within the year 2015.
Expect it to come towards the second half of the year. It will be the most powerful Pulsar yet and may come with ABS as standard!

I know you were expecting the gorgeous Pulsar 400CS (Cruiser Sports) to be listed here somewhere in the list but according to what we understand, it is more of a 2016 probable, unless Bajaj has some surprise in store for all of us!
