Harley Davidson launched the most affordable and a little bare basic Street 750 at the Auto Expo in Noida at some luring prices. And to cull that basicness, the company is offering a range of accessories for it. These include cosmetic enhancements as well as some mechanical updates.
Talking about what’s on offer, we have three different types of seats which will alter the way a rider sits on the bike. Here are the options:
- Café solo seats: for those who do not want to share their ride with a pillion and also holds the rider in place.
- Tallboy seats: for riders with long legs, moves the rider 3.2cm higher and 6.4cm to remove the knee high position which tall riders face in low slung cruisers.
- Reduced reach seats: for shorter riders, moves the rider 3.8cm lower and 3.2cm forward.
A new easy to install, aluminium accented muffler tip adds a modern feel. A new slip on muffler which is to produce a tuned, aggressive and raspy note which is street legal; should be a favourite of those who may get disappointed with the stock sound.
A little tank bag which rests above the fuel tank is also a neat addition to the list. The bag has many thoughtful pouches which should be a boon on those tiring long rides. Engine guard, custom wheels, centre stand and body parts in six different colours should also be a favourite among thse riders who want their ride to stand apart from the rest.
Other available accessories include foot pegs, brake pedal pads, gear shifter pegs, custom mirrors, helmet locks, luggage racks, passenger backrests, surface cleaning kits and more.
The Street 750 along with the even more affordable Street 500, which will be coming next year, are very important models for Harley not only in India, but around the world specially in developing countries. The under 5 lac on road price tag, along with this huge list of accessories should lure buyers into taking the bite!
