Honda shared a event invite with us for 4th February without mentioning anything specific on its details. There was no clarity on what could it be – is it just another traffic awareness type of an event or something more interesting.
And we have landed upon a set of documents which confirm two things:
- 4th Feb event is indeed a ‘Launch’ and not some other brand building program.
- Going by the wording here, its a ‘Motorcycle’ launch and not some other scooter. Honda in its official company name differentiates Motorcycles and Scooters (Honda Motorecycle & Scooters India) and hence we can safely assume that the term motorcycle is ‘NOT’ used a a bouquet for all two-wheelers.
There will also be a celebrity present to be the star attraction, as is the norm.
However, what still remains a mystery is – which actual motorcycle model is Honda launching on that day?
According to prospects, it could be the new CBR300R, the updated CBR150R (both of which have not been officially confirmed by Honda) or the confirmed 4-cylinder CBR650F or it may be something mysteriously unknown at this point of time.
After the dull Unicorn 160, we hope to get a more interesting motorcycle from Honda. Let us see what have they got!
