KTM, the Austrian motorcycle manufacture recently set the Indian market on fire with the launch of the RC390 on September 9. The company has already started delivering the motorcycles to early birds out there and some have even started crashing their beauties 🙁 .
The company is on track to sell the RC390 in Indonesia and they recently showcased this powerful mid-size beast at Sentul International Karting Circuit near Jakarta according to Otonity.com . The bike will be same as the one sold in India. In fact not just Indonesia but the whole world will be getting the RC390 and RC 200 (as well as the RC 125 and its naked cousin, the Dukes) manufactured and exported from India.
Though there have been no words on prices yet, the big RC is expected to carry a price tag of Indonesian Rupiah 110 million which equates to about 5.59 Lakh in INR. Interestingly, this is just double of Rs 2.7 Lakh, the twin cylinder Yamaha R25 is sold at, in Indonesia. The huge difference is because of the fact that the R25 is produced in Indonesia, the RC390 will be an import from India.
The biggest competition which the RC 390 will be facing in Indonesia, apart from the R25 will be the Kawasaki Ninja 250, Honda CBR 250R and the upcoming Honda CBR 300R. PT KTM Moto Indonesia is very confident about the success of this upcoming bike and the company management believes that the market at present favors sport bikes and this will definitely help the RC 390.
