KTM 160 Duke is the brand’s entry-level model in India while being the fourth Duke motorcycle in the 160-400cc portfolio.
KTM India has launched the all-new 160 Duke at a sticker price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the domestic market. Presented as the most powerful 160cc motorcycle in India, it can be booked online at the brand’s website as well as at the company authorized dealerships across the country. KTM 160 Duke replaces the 125 Duke in the company’s portfolio in the Indian market while becoming its new entry-level model. The naked motorcycle will directly rival Yamaha’s 155cc bikes and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in our country. This is the fourth Duke motorcycle between 160cc and 400cc in India.
The all-new KTM 160 Duke will be available in three colour options namely Electronic Orange, Atlantic Blue & Silver Metallic Matte. Sitting on a split trellis frame, The naked bike flaunts race-inspired graphics with lower handlebar and compact seat. The suspension duties are helmed by WP-sourced USD front forks with 138mm travel and monoshock absorbers at rear with 161mm travel. The 160 Duke gets a wheelbase of 1357mm.

Riding on 17-inch bionic light alloy wheels, KTM 160 Duke is packed with LED headlamp, Casted pillion step holder and Sleek grab rail. Some of the notable features on-board include 5-inch LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, Turn-by-turn navigation (TA), Smartphone connect with call pick and music play, Dual-channel ABS, Off-road ABS and Microswitch control. The bike misses out on traction control feature even as an option.
At the heart, the 160 Duke has the OBD-2B compliant 164.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates maximum power of 18.7 bhp at 9500 rpm and peak torque of 15.5 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The stopping power comes from 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc units, which are offered as standard.

KTM 160 Duke has a decent ground clearance of 174mm while the saddle height is pegged at 815mm. Tipping the weighing scale at 147 kg, the naked motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 10.1 litres. It is claimed to have the best power to weight ratio in its segment.
