The MY25 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available with a flat discount of Rs 25,000 till Dec 31 in the Indian market
Kawasaki India is offering heavy year-end benefits on the purchase of the Versys-X 300 in the country. The company is giving a flat cash discount of Rs 25,000 on the ADV bike, and hence bringing down its effective ex-showroom price to Rs 3.24 lakh from Rs 3.49 lakh in the Indian market. Just so you know, Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is the only twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle below Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag in India. The cash discount of Rs 25,000 is only valid on MY25 units till Dec 31 or till stocks last.
Available in a single fully-loaded variant, the 2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available in two dual-tone colour options namely Candy Lime Green Type 3 + Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Ocean Blue + Pearl Robotic White. Sitting on a high-tensile Backbone steel frame, it comes with some typical adventure elements such as upright seating position, tall windscreen, and a rear carrier.
The Versys-X 300 has a ground clearance of 180 mm, which is quite decent. However, other adventure bikes such as the KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and TVS RTX 300 are even higher from the ground. The saddle height is pegged at 815 mm which makes it convenient for medium heighted riders as well. It tips the weighing scale at 179 kg.

The suspension duties are helmed by telescopic front forks and monoshock rear unit with spring preload adjustability. The stopping power comes from disc brakes at both the ends. Some of the notable features onboard the Versys-X 300 are Economical Riding Indicator, Assist & Slipper Clutch and Single-channel ABS. Some of the accessories available with the ADV bike are Engine guard, 12V power socket, Tank pad, Fog lamp and Knuckle guards.
At the heart, the Versys-X 300 packs the 296cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which produces top power of 39 bhp at 11500 rpm and highest torque of 26 Nm at 10000 rpm. We have already seen this engine in the Ninja 300. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Though exact mileage figures are not available, it can return up to 24-25 kmpl.

It will soon have a direct rival in India in the form of the BMW F 450 GS. The 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 has already gone on sale in India. It rides on spoked-wheels while presented with a tapered seat design. Both the MY25 and MY26 Versys-X 300 are pretty identical in terms of design, features and engine specs, except for a handful of subtle updates.
