IPL 2026: Hero Vida to Install a Fast-Charger on Every 6 Hit by KKR

Hero Vida has rolled out a unique ‘6 for 6’ campaign under which it will install a 6kW fast charger for every six hit by KKR in this IPL season

Hero MotoCorp, in parternship with IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), has launched the ‘6 for 6’ campaign in India. This first-of-its-kind initiative has been introduced under the Vida electric brand, where in the company will install a 6kW fast charger for every six hit by KKR throughout the 2026 IPL T20 season. Vida presently has one of the leading fast-charging networks in India with over 5,300 touchpoints across 430 cities. As part of the ‘6 for 6’ campaign, Vida also unveiled co-branded fast chargers in the signature KKR colours at prominent locations.

Recently, the first fast-charger was installed in KKR jersey colours in the country, which was unveiled by the team players. These chargers have the ability to quickly charge the Vida electric scooters from 0 to 80 percent in merely an hour. Not only the cities, but these fast-chargers have been strategically placed along key highway corridors connecting major urban centres.

Apart from fast-charging compatibility, Vida e-scooters also come with detachable battery packs which can be safely ejected from the scooter to charge at any standard 5A household plug point. Vida retails a total of five electric scooters in the Indian market in the form of VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, VX2 Plus, V2 Plus and V2 Pro at price points of Rs 73,850, Rs 84,800, Rs 94,800, Rs 1.05 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively.

Recently, Vida VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition was launched in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). It was rolled out in KKR’s jersey colours which are Knight Purple and Gold. The customers will also get a limited-edition KKR helmet, designed in the team’s signature colour, on the purchase of the limited edition scooter.

Hero Vida further announced that a KKR player will receive a customised VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition, featuring the player’s name and jersey number, in every match won by the team in IPL 2026. The KKR limited-edition gets a golden half-tone gradient with micro-dotted patterns which is complimented by the pearl black body color. It flaunts three accent marks to symbolise the three championship titles won by Kolkata Knight Riders.
