Indian Motorcycle is getting ready to re-launch one of their final pre-Polaris era product, the Dark Horse. The bike will be launched at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, scheduled to be held in Chicago between February 13 and 15, 2015. The company is inviting riders to be a part of this historic launch event on the first day of the Show.
To be a part of this event, riders will have to register themselves for the Dark Horse Challenge Ride and ride to Michigan Avenue, Chicago on their motorcycles. The registration process can be completed by filling a simple form here.
The Dark Horse was a model under the Indian brand from 2010 to 2013 and had an engine displacement of 105 cubic inches (1,720.6 cc) but this time the bike shall get the new Thunder Stroke 111 engine (1,819 cc) which does duty in the Classic, Vintage, Chieftain and Roadmaster producing 138.9 Nm of torque. The blackened engine with chrome covers can be expected to continue, mated perfectly with a dark matte finish body.
This will be the first model from the 2016 line-up and considering that even the current top of the line Roadmaster is here in India, the Dark Horse should come here as well!
