Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, inaugurated their third dealership in India in Chennai. The event was attended by Mr Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt Ltd and Mr Satish Mehta, Executive Director, JMB Motor.
Indian Motorcycle opened their first dealership last year in Gurgaon and followed it up with one in Bangalore, back in May 2015. It is interesting to note the trend – manufacturers are preferring the South Indian market over others and we have already seen this earlier with Triumph.
The dealership will showcase the entire range of Indian motorcycles which includes Roadmaster, Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain, Dark Horse and Scout. Visitors can also buy exclusive Indian Motorcycle merchandise. Besides this, the dealership will also have a service centre with house-trained service support staff offering after-sales and service support adding to the overall experience of owning an Indian Motorcycle.
Indian has been serious about our market and has been launching their new international unveils pretty much in tandem with their global debuts. The event also saw the customary key handing ceremony of Indian Scout to its new owners.
