The 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R had its world premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. It was also showcased at the India Bike Week (IBW) 2024 in December in Goa to gauge customer response. Now, the company has revealed the technical specs and features of the motorcycle as it goes on sale shortly in several global markets. The 2025 390 Enduro R is quite compact as far as dimensions are concerned and it is built for off-roading. KTM also released the technical specs of the smaller 125 Enduro R which is not expected to arrive anytime soon in the Indian market.

The 390 Enduro R flaunts a 9 litre fuel tank with off-road-focused fairings. Adorning a totally new and off-road inspired design, the bike sits on a new two-piece steel trellis frame which already comes in other Duke models. It features an all-LED lighting including the turn indicators, headlamp and tail-lamp cluster. KTM has introduced a special Off-Road riding mode which ensures more rear wheel slip on uneven terrains. For city rides, the Street mode comes as default. In addition, the traction control feature is completely switchable.

It is powered by the same Euro 5.2 compliant 399cc single-cylinder LC4c engine which debuted with the new range of Duke motorcycles. The power and torque figures are not released yet but we expect the engine to make around 45 bhp and 39 Nm, respectively. The engine will come with a 6-speed gearbox and a power-assisted slipper clutch. KTM is also offering an optional Quickshifter+ system with the bike.

Earlier reports claimed that the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R could be launched in India by mid of this year. However, we do not have any concrete info as of now on the launch timeline as the brand has been quite tight-lipped about the new motorcycles coming to the Indian market. So, all we can do is wait for a while and hear it from the horse’s mouth.
