Honda has increased Shine 100 warranty package to 10 years. It is offering the motorcycle at an even more aggresive price tag now…
As I have been saying again and again – Shine 100 has been Honda’s most aggressive step against its arch-rival Hero MotoCorp – in its bid to be the numero uno manufacturer in India. The Jap has come much better prepared and is leaving no stone unturned to make it a roaring success.
The motorcycle has now been launched in Rajasthan but it gets even better as a package than before!
10 Year warranty package – Shine 100 is available at a special 10-year warranty package. This includes 3 year standard warranty and additional 7 years optional extended warranty package. We believe this will be applicable across India, however, a clarification on this is pending. I will update this story once I have more clarity on this.
Introductory Price – The original introductory price tag of Rs 64,900 was itself very luring, however, Rajasthan (and probably a few other states) get it at an even more interesting price tag of Rs 62,900 – Rs 2000 lesser than before. Though this lesser price tag may be time-limited, but this suggests that the original launch price of Rs 64,900 may stay for a longer time.
Easy Finance Scheme – Shine 100 also gets a “100 pe 100” special finance plan. Honda says that customers can enjoy benefits like zero documentation charge and no advance EMI, along with a processing fee of just Rs 1.

This makes Shine 100 and even more appealing package and a big threat to Hero Splendor’s dominance. But will the junta change its buying habits..?
